As certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT) and yoga teacher (E-RYT 500), I am trained in Subtle® Yoga - a therapeutic system that uses accessible and adaptable postures, releases emotional patterns stored in the body, enhances neurology and fosters resilience and spirituality. My focus is on the deeper aspects of yoga. I enjoy working one-on-one to enhance the mind-body connection, regulate the nervous system, reduce pain patterns and improve flexibility and mobility.


I am an Ayurveda Wellness Practitioner (AWP) and 

member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association who graduated from Narayana Ayurveda and Yoga Academy in a two-year/1300 hour program. Certification in pulse assessment and marma point therapy was under the tutelage of Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurveda Institute. I provide educational Ayurveda consultations and have also worked in a clinical setting in collaboration with MDs at an integrative medical clinic.

Lisa Moore

Founder of Harmony Yoga, Lisa Moore, began practicing yoga 23 years ago to heal a back injury and has since utilized the many facets of yoga as a daily life practice. When traditional medicine could not provide answers for ongoing digestive and anxiety issues, she immersed herself in the elemental-based practices of Ayurveda to regain her health.

Inspired, Lisa now enjoys sharing her knowledge on these interweaving sister sciences with others. Several years ago, she had a recurring dream about making a drum. Never having had any experience with drumming, she was baffled by these strong, repeated visions. Finally, she decided to make a frame drum, which led her to study Shamanism. Magical teachers lined up, and today Lisa enjoys leading shamanic journeys to receive insights and guidance.

Lisa's "meditation in motion" style of yoga will strengthen and lengthen the body while releasing physical, mental and emotional stress. Believing yoga should be accessible to all, she welcomes and is honored to work with individuals experiencing pain, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction and other heath issues. She also advocates yoga as a preventative health practice.


Also a freelance writer, Lisa has written for The Charlotte Observer and was the editor of Natural Awakenings Magazine Charlotte for 12 years. She has written hundreds of articles on holistic health, environmental wellness, green living, human interest, social justice and spirituality. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys gardening, being in nature and loving up her beloved chihuahua, Kobi.
